Description
The Lennox 49M50 High-Pressure Switch is a protective component installed in commercial HVAC applications such as furnaces and air conditioners. This component also plays the role of a pressure indicator for the refrigerant that flows within the system. If the pressure increases beyond the safe limit, the switch turns on to stop power supply to the compressor. This detaches the unload mechanism from the high-pressure circumstance of the compressor and other components, thereby protecting them in case of high pressure. The Lennox is a pressure activated on/off switch with a voltage of 24V.
