The Lennox 10K56 High-Pressure (Motor/Resistor) Switch is safety control device that is used in HVAC systems to avoid pressure build-up in refrigerant circuits. The switch itself has been designed to fit Hamilton heating and cooling systems with ease depending on the model. It monitors the high pressure section of the unit and responds each time pressures get to the safe limit. When activated, the switch disconnects the motor or compressor to avoid problems or failure resulting from overpressure conditions.
