Description
The Johnson Controls TE-631GM-1 Duct Mount Temperature Sensor essential component of HVAC systems. This sensor is compact and comes with a 4-long probe that is made of metal. The probe has a 1K ohm nickel resistance temperature detector element. When air flows over the sensor, the nickel element responds to changes in temperature. RTDs have the interesting characteristic of being able to control their electrical resistance concerning temperature. This regards, resistance is directly proportional to temperature and vice versa. This resistance variation is then transmitted as a signal to the building’s HVAC controlling system.
