Description
The Johnson Controls P66AAB-34 Electronic Fan Speed Control is a pressure actuated device used to control the airflow of HVAC/R systems with condenser fan motors. It is able to control the speed of the fan depending on the sensed refrigerant pressure in the system. This increases the effectiveness of the supply of fresh air, as it depends upon the actual cooling load. When pressure is low, the fan speed increases in order to cool the condenser adequately. On the other hand, when pressure increases, the fan speed is reduced in order to minimize the amount of energy consumed.
