The York S1-024-19082-017 Heat Relay is used in different HVAC systems especially in electric furnaces and heat pumps. This is an electromechanical relay which receiving the command signals from the thermostat allows current through the heating elements or to the reversing valve depending on which way the thermostat has tilted.
