The Trane GKT3926 is a Heat Exchanger Vestibule Gasket, which is a critical part made for Trane HVAC systems. It is 12 inches long and constructed of fiberglass, forming a crucial seal around the heat exchanger vestibule. The heat exchanger vestibule is an area that is used to cool air over the hot heat exchanger core and heat the air. If the vestibule is not sealed, the conditioned air will leak out before it reaches the living area which is not efficient for the system, and may also cause temperature fluctuation.
