Description
The Supco FLS010 Flame Sensor is a crucial safety component in gas-fired furnaces and boilers. It safeguards against gas leaks and potential explosions by detecting the presence of a flame. The sensor rod, measuring 2 ½ inches long, projects into the burner assembly. It detects heat emanating from the flame. If the flame goes out for any reason, the sensor cools down rapidly, signaling the control board to shut off the gas supply. Made with durable materials that withstand up to 1800°F, the Supco FLS010 is built to last. The sensor measures 4 inches long by 7/8 inches wide by ½ inch thick, and requires approximately 17 seconds to warm up after ignition.
