Description
The Carrier HT32TC701 is a Crankcase Heater, a heating element that is used in Carrier HVAC systems, with a special preference for compressors. This essential component fits closely around the cylindrical crankcase to avoid extremely low temperatures during its operation. Reduced temperature in crankcases could in some way hamper efficiency and can cause some wear to a compressor. It operates from a conventional 50/60 Hz electrical supply and it is constructed from vandal resistant materials. It just means that it is compatible with certain Carrier units that are intended to be used for data transmission.
