Description
The Lennox 99K39 Expansion Valve is a control device intended for the Lennox HVAC systems, most often air conditioners. This valve is essential for enhancing the system’s efficiency and cooling characteristics. Suppose there is a small device with terminals at the two ends; one is slightly wider (3/8″) than the other (1/2″). This is responsible for the sensing of temperature within the evaporator coil. With this information, it can accurately regulate the amount of refrigerant that enters the coil through the 3/8-inch inlet. This refrigerant cools your home’s air by taking its heat away. The wider, 1/2 Inch outlet is for the cooled refrigerant to be released easily.
