The Xylem-Hoffman Specialty 404200 Float & Thermostatic Steam Trap designed to provide proper condensate drainage and air elimination for the steam system. This trap is designed for low-pressure systems, and it is capable of functioning at a pressure of up to 15 PSI. It has a float mechanism for the removal of condensate and a thermostatic element for the expulsion of air in the system. It is widely applied to unit heaters, heat exchangers, and coils to eliminate water hammer and ensure uniform heat distribution. The FT015H model’s 3/4″ size can be easily installed and is suitable for energy saving, increasing the durability of the equipment.
