The Trane EXC1876 Heat Exchanger is a contender for high efficiency of thermal exchange within your Trane HVAC systems. A strong and lengthy exchanger measuring 24.5” in length made from aluminum for efficient heat transfer. In contrast to conventional techniques where two fluids are combined and intermingled, this heat exchanger uses contact. One type of fluid goes through internal tubing as hot fluid and another type of fluid which is cool moves around the tubing. This causes a natural heat transfer since the temperature of the fluids is different. In the Trane EXC1876, as the hotter fluid flows through the tubes, the heat is efficiently transferred into the cooler fluid permitting proper control of temperature.
