Description
The Trane EXC1309 is a crucial component in heat exchange systems of Trane furnaces or heating systems. A strong metal enclosure that allows heat exchange between two fluids without intermingling of the fluids. This heat exchanger is about 48” long, because of its size it is advisable to seek professional help when installing the product. This works in a manner that it exchanges heat between hot combustion gases and cooler air streams. Hot gases produced by the furnace are passed through internal tubes of the exchanger. At the same time the cooler air is fanning around these tubes, taking heat off those hot gases.
