The Rheem-Ruud 68-24131-01 Drain Tube directs condensate from the evaporator outlet pan an external discharge point and prevents water buildup inside the component. It works by using gravity flow to carry moisture collected during the cooling process through routed tubing path and ensuring continuous drainage without backflow. The tube is positioned at the base of air handler or coil section and secured to maintain a clear path for water removal.
