The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100233664 Flame Sensor Gasket is designed to fit in the HVAC systems to offer a closed interface around the assembly to avoid leakage of combustion gas or air at the mounting point. It is placed between the flame sensor and the combustion chamber or mounting bracket and when it is installed, it compresses to ensure constant contact and sealing. This gasket is placed when assembling and to maintain proper flame detection and aid in the combustion control of gas-fired furnaces, boilers and other heating systems.
