Description
The Lennox 97H74 is oval shaped dual run capacitor that is used in the HVAC systems such as air conditioners, heat pumps and furnaces. It behaves as a buffer, a storage place of electrical energy which can be used for some time. When the motors of the compressor and the fan are to be started, the capacitor supplies the motor with a high amount of voltage. Dual run capacitors, such as 97H74, have two different microfarad values, 45 MFD and 10 MFD in this case. Advantages of using dual run capacitors include better motor starting, increased efficiency, and longevity of your HVAC equipment.
