Description
The Johnson Controls V-4710-604 Diaphragm is used in the 8R series pneumatic valve actuators. This diaphragm is manufactured with high-quality rubber or a synthetic elastomer that will ensure it is rigid enough to withstand rugged conditions. This diaphragm changes the pressure 1of compressed air into mechanical motion. When compressed air gets into the actuator chamber the diaphragm moves out. This motion creates a force that moves the actuator arm for opening or closing of the valve within the HVAC system. Thus, the proper conversion of the air/ water pressure plays an essentialrole in the efficient working and accurate controlling of the high flow rates of HVAC applications in a wide range involved with the Diaphragm.
