Description
The Johnson Controls P545NCB-82 Electronic Lube Oil Control Switch which is a core component for avoiding lubrication problems. This electrical switch is used to monitor the oil pressure of a compressor lubricating system. It comes with a factory preset pressure of 7 PSI, and has a pressure range lower than other P545NCB models (0 – 10 PSI). If the oil pressure is below this set level after a delay time (120 seconds in this case), the P545NCB-82 turns on/off. This signal can be used to sound an alarm or, more Essential, to switch off the compressor to avoid damage arising from low oil levels.
