Description
The Johnson Controls P545NCB-25 Electronic Lube Oil Pressure Switch guards compressors in HVAC systems from lubrication problems. This electrical switch checks the oil pressure needed for the compressor function. It has a pressure setting of 10 PSI that may be adjusted by the user to meet the unique compressor requirements. The P545NCB-25 turns on/off if oil pressure goes below the set point after a certain amount of time has elapsed. This essential signal can be used to sound an alarm or, more Essential, shut off the compressor to avoid damage from low lubrication. The switch uses a standard 24 VAC supply voltage and works under conditions of 32 to 150 F, which is acceptable in most HVAC applications.
