Description
The Carrier P041-4441 is a crankcase heater which is intended to protect Carrier HVAC systems. This low profile heater, only 10.2 inches long, 8.4 inches wide, and 0.2 inch thick, perfectly encompasses the crankcase of the compressor. Crankcase heaters run at a normal frequency of 50/60 Hz and are power efficient, using only 40 watts at 460 volts. In off-cycles, when the compressor is off, the P041-4441 heater warms up the oil to a required temperature. This warmth also prevents refrigerant from dissolving and getting along with the oil present in the crankcase. Crankcase heaters prevent refrigerant gassing up and dilution of oil from interrupting the positive functioning of your Carrier HVAC system thus enhancing the equipment’s life duration.
