Description
The Carrier KA70PP057 is a bi-metal hose adapter used in Carrier HVAC systems only. It provides safe and airtight coupling between hoses to provide optimal functionality for your heating and cooling systems. It is compact but made from bi-metal to ensure that it lasts as long as it is used in its operations. This operates by designing a secure connection interface between two hoses of different sizes or materials. This is done through sweat or braze connections. Sweat connections employ solder to make a hermetic joint while brazing uses a high-temperature filler metal to join the parts.
