Description
The Carrier HT32TC707 is an essential part called a crankcase heater made for Carrier HVAC equipment containing crankcases, which are probably compressors in refrigerators and air conditioners. This long, slender heating component encircles the crankcase and gives crucial heat during start-up or cold climates. It is 96” long and is wound around the crankcase with a width of 6.5”. When energized, it produces heat which warms the oil contained within the crankcase. The heater preheats the crankcase oil and thus the engine starts easily in cold weather and does not exert much pressure on the compressor.
