Description
The Carrier HT32CH231 is a crankcase heater to protect in HVAC systems. They have a 7 foot 8″ long lead wire for easy connection during installation. The HT32CH231 is a heat generating device during off cycles when the compressor is not running to prevent refrigerant migration and oil dilution. Refrigerant can run cold and deposit down into the crankcase oil, removing its lubricating qualities, adversely affecting system performance. The HT32CH231 heater maintains the crankcase oil at a suitable temperature so the system functions and lasts for added time.
