Description
The Carrier HK42ER228 is an Electronically Commutated Motor, a technologically advanced module for Carrier HVAC systems. It is not a conventional PSC motor and it uses ECM technology for efficiency and variable speed control. This means that the efficiency of the motor is higher than that of PSC motors and the operation is less noisy and energy demanding. Measuring a compact 5.7” x 5.5” x 2.2”, it has a 1/3 horsepower motor and comes with a standard voltage of 208-230V at 50/60 Hz. It helps to provide a more comfortable living environment and lower energy costs for the Carrier HVAC systems based on intelligently controlling motor speed depending on the needs of the system.
