The Carrier HK42ER226 Electronically Commutated Motor Module is intended to enhance the performance of the Carrier HVAC systems. Unlike conventional PSC motors that operate at certain constant speeds, it uses electronics to control the speed. This enables its use in variable speed applications and can opt amongst high and low speeds depending on the requirement of either heating or cooling. This compact module with 5.6″ in length, 5.4″ in width, and 1.4″ in height makes it suitable for small spaces within the HVAC unit. The motor utilizes a standard voltage of 208-230V with a horsepower of 1/3.
