Description
The Carrier HH18JA061 Defrost Thermostat is used in HVAC systems, particularly heat pump and refrigeration applications. The system has a thermostat that measures the EVAPORATOR COIL temperature. In the formation of frost, the system will respond by initiating the defrost cycle to aid in heat transfer and also to prevent the deterioration of equipment. Carrier HVAC models are used with this thermostat to give a sense of function and efficiency of the model. It is cheaper in the long run, has a constant level of efficiency, and offers the users higher comfort.
