The Carrier 343470-75102 Condensate Drain Pan is an exemplary Carrier HVAC part that is used for air conditioners. This pan is constructed from black metal and it gathers the condensate water which forms naturally in the course of air conditioning. While cool air is being produced, water vapor on the evaporator coil forms and they fall off. Condensate is collected by the drain pan and is drained off by a drain pipe so that it does not drip on other components or your floor. This helps protect your air conditioning and heating equipment from water and rust. The pan which is 23” in length and breadth and 5” in height is intended to drain condensate from most of the Carrier air conditioners.
