Description
The Carrier 28HQ400071 is a horizontal condensate pan which is a part of Carrier HVAC systems made of plastic. These pans lie horizontally below the evaporator coil to receive the dripping water. It has only one connection for the drain measuring 3/4” and this makes it convenient to connect to a condensate drain line. This line then nadhyaSjes the collected water from the unit and this usually is discharged to a drain or sump pump. The pan collects and evacuates water to enhance the performance of the unit and to avoid the pits falls such as corrosion, mold formation, and poor functioning of the HVAC unit.
