Description
The Johnson Controls T-4000-611 Conversion Kit is an economical solution to retrofit a two-pipe HVAC system. It enabled you to trade a T-400 Series, dual-temperature pneumatic thermostat for a T-4000 Series, which might be more efficient. This conversion kit can be best described as a converter since it is more or less a plug-in for the existing device. It has a metal back subplate that fits inside the casing of your present T-400 Series thermostat. The kit also has pipehead adapters that join the existing two pipes to the T-4000 Series thermostat. Seals between the adapters and the piping are provided by gaskets.
