Description
The Lennox 94J46 High-Pressure Cutout Kit is a safety measure intended to protect the air conditioning equipment within the system by controlling high pressures operating within the refrigerant line. It has a pressure switch that monitors the pressure of the refrigerant in the system at all times. If the pressure rises beyond a set limit, normally due to restricted airflow, faulty components, or low refrigerant charge, the switch shuts down the compressor automatically. This immediate shutoff is effective in preventing compressor failure and other expensive repair works.
