Description
The Trane EXC1875 Heat Exchanger is an essentialpart of your Trane HVAC system that is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that heat transfer takes place within the system and is approximately 44.5 inches in length. This heat exchanger does not use an open flame or a water boiler as in the past but has a closed circuit. Hot fluid usually water which is heated by combustion or a furnace is passed through the internal tubes of the exchanger. At the same time, fresh air or water moves through another system of passages inside the unit. The hot fluid is transferred to the cooler fluid in order to increase its temperature.
