The Lennox 60J28 is a Flame Sensor Lead, that is essentially a flame sensor which is an essentialcomponent in HVAC systems with particular reference to gas furnaces. This lead provides the flame sensor to the control board to closely monitor the burner flame. The flame sensor informs the control board that a flame is present in the area of the burner assembly so that it ignites right. If a flame is not detected then the system will turn off to prevent the leakage of the gas and all the dangers that come with it. It is built to last and its reliable performance is assured by ensuring that the flame sensor is functional.
