Description
The Browning BK100H Fractional Horsepower Sheave is an element utilized in different HVAC systems. This sheave, geared towards use in systems that require fractional horsepower, is integral in power transmission in the system. It is effectively a simple form of a pulley, coupling motor to driven item such as a fan or blower. In this case, the sheave contains a grooving system where V belts run in order to facilitate positive power transmission. This works through engaging the V-belt between the sheave grooves. When the motor turns then the sheave turns as well when the sheave turns the V-belt moves in response.
