Description
The Trane BAYCCHT302RES is a Crankcase Heater featuring a 40W and 230V device for split system heat pumps to prevent refrigerant oil from thickening at low temperatures. This cylinder heater with an overall length of 9.75 inches and a diameter of 5.5 inches is fitted in the crankcase of the compressor. The heater also manages the oil viscosity to be right for compressor operation and to eliminate the risk of harm during the start-up of the compressor especially if it is being done in winter. This heater is intended to be used for scroll compressors in split system heat pumps.
