Description
This NIBCO lug type butterfly valve provides bubble-tight shutoff at 250 psi and bi-directional dead-end service without a downstream flange to 232 psi. The valve is ideal for commercial and some light industrial process applications, compressed air and vacuum services. NIBCO ductile iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The unique molded-in Buna-N seat liner with aluminum bronze disc provides good abrasion resistance properties and compatibility with solvents, oil, water and hydraulic fluid for compressed air and vacuum applications. With the internal stem/disc geometric drive design there is no need for pins or bolts that may create leak paths or turbulence in the waterway. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
