Description
The Johnson Controls TE-6300-603 Temperature Element Nickel is used in most of the HVAC systems temperature sensors. The TE-6300-603 is not a single sensor but a part of a system. But it is essential for the detection of temperature variations. This element starts taking the temperature of the air right away and is constructed from durable nickel for extended usage. So, when air flows across the probe, the electrical resistance of the nickel changes with temperature. Temperature increases resistance and decreases resistance when the air is cooler. Although the TE-6300-603 does not produce voltage, the reduction in resistance is a starting point.
