Description
Rheem-Ruud 42-22692-06 Door Switch is an essential safety part of the HVAC systems, which is designed for furnaces and air handlers. This door switch senses when the service panel or access door is open and the system cannot function when it is exposed and minimizes the risk of electrical shock. It operates by shutting power to the system when the door is open and restores it when it is closed securely. A door switch that is commonly used in residential heating and cooling applications enhances safety and reliability and efficiency by shielding the internal components of HVAC systems.
