Description
The Honeywell 310668 5” high-temperature silicone diaphragm is used in the MP953 pneumatic valve actuator used in HVAC systems. This diaphragm is a flexible wall within the actuator that changes the pressure of the air to mechanical movement. When compressed air is supplied to one side of the diaphragm it deflects and through a connected rod or stem regulates the flow of air in dampers, valves, and other HVAC system-related equipment. Made of silicone, it is resistant to heat and other conditions that are likely to prevail in operating atmospheres.
