The Rheem-Ruud 47-17719-01 Defrost Control 230V is an essential part of the HVAC systems especially Heat Pump units in as much as it is used to address the defrosting process appropriately. It has a voltage Rating of 230V and its frequency variation is between 50 to 60Hz. It ensures appropriate times of defrost cycle through the usage of defrost timer coupled with time-temperature measuring device. In terms of functionality it tracks both time intervals and external temperature in order to control operation when defrosting processes should begin and when they should end.
